The Flyers organization signs Boyd Kane, Mr. I-Captained-Back-to-Back-Calder-Cup-Championships (Philly Phantoms 2005, Hershey Bears 2006).
It's interesting, anyway.
Flyers open their season with an away game in Pittsburgh on October 5, and their home opener is vs. Rangers on October 7. It's not likely I will be in Philadelphia until the end of November; during my proposed time there, they will be playing Pittsburgh at home. I suppose I should try to buy those tickets as soon as I can.
In September the pre-season starts. It all seems so far away, but at least there are newsy tidbits to keep me busy.

Yeah, the Hurricanes won the Stanley Cup.
